The youth of the church are tomorrow’s leaders. Here at LBC we believe it is very important to establish a strong relationship with Jesus Christ early on in life both to help our kids become a part of tomorrow’s church and more importantly, to ensure understand what Christ has done for us and accept Christ as their Savior. Helping to foster a personal relationship between the children at LBC and Jesus Christ is something we consider very important.
LBC provides a Sunday School class every Sunday morning to share some of the stories and truths of the Bible to any children interested in attending. Sunday School spans both the adult Sunday school lesson as well as the main service and is for children ages 4 and up.
Pastor Carne and his wife, Lesley, lead our Patch the Pirate Club. Patch the Pirate Club is an unique children’s choir program. Based upon music written by Ron and Shelly Hamilton, the program has been used successfully in churches, schools, and home schools since 1984. Each month the club emphasizes a new Godly character lesson taught through songs, stories, Bible lessons, music lessons, activity pages, daily devotions, and performances. Patch the Pirate Club provides opportunities for elementary-aged children to grow spiritually while developing musically. It’s a great club for character- building fun!
LBC offers nursery services to infants and toddlers during all the main services on Sunday and Wednesday. Please be sure to sign your child in and provide any instructions on feeding / special care when dropping them off. The nursery is located past the stairwell to the downstairs on the right as you enter the main entrance.
